Studio

Count becomes GPM. GPM eats pressure. The tail is what waters the crop.

Pressure band: ≥ 12 PSI good · 8–12 watch · < 8 low. Intro covers the schematic, the live gauge, and PNG zone cards. No cloud weather, no account. Hazen–Williams is a teaching estimate — you still own backflow and code. If residual looks wild, shorten rows or upsize pipe. Do not stack emitters on a starving tail.

Hydraulics

How the numbers are built

Emitters = (length inches / spacing) × rows, spacing floors at 4″. GPM = (count × GPH) / 60. Area = length × rows × 1.5 ft. Gallons = area × inches × 0.623. Runtime = gallons / zone GPH. Friction: Hazen–Williams C=150, head ft × 0.4335 = PSI. Residual = inlet − lateral − main.

Suggest ID: ≤4 GPM → 0.50″, ≤8 → 0.75″, ≤16 → 1.00″, else 1.25″. Filter 150-mesh tape / 200 buttons. Regulator 15 PSI tape, 25 buttons. Fertigation 1:100 venturi under 6 GPM, else 1:128 piston. Guide: climate presets 0.7–1.6″, weekly depth slider, rotating coach tip, ten-term glossary. Imperial or metric. Theme system / light / dark. Local Room + DataStore.

Does it work offline?

Yes. Only Share leaves the app, and only when you tap it.

Residual in the red?

Under 8 PSI: upsize the mainline or split the zone. Do not add emitters to a starving tail.

Is Hazen–Williams a stamp?

No. C=150 estimate. Confirm with a gauge at the last emitter.

How is runtime calculated?

Gallons = area × inches × 0.623. Hours = gallons ÷ GPH. Move weekly depth when weather shifts.

Tape vs buttons — regulator?

Tape 15 PSI, 150 mesh. Buttons 25 PSI, 200 mesh. Isolate vortex from tape.

Cloud sync?

No. Uninstall deletes the local studio.
